The New SkyDrive

leave a comment »

I am sure everyone out there at least got a or Ever heard of Microsoft Skydrive? It’s something similar to Dropbox, Sugarsync or BOX. Previously Microsoft Skydrive is giving free 25GB to their user. Now the revamped new Skydrive default free storage is reduced to 7GB.

Starting today, we are now offering:

7GB free for all new SkyDrive users. We chose 7GB as it provides enough space for over 99% of people to store their entire Office document library and share photos for several years, along with room for growth. To put things in perspective, 99.94% of SkyDrive customers today use 7GB or less – and 7GB is enough for over 20,000 Office documents or 7,000 photos. Since the current base of customers using SkyDrive tilts towards enthusiasts, we are confident that, as we expand the range of people using SkyDrive, this 7GB free limit will prove to be more than enough for even more people. (

Quota Consumption (megabytes)

We know that many of you signed up for a service that offered 25GB, and some are already using more than 7GB of storage. So, starting today, for a limited time, any registered SkyDrive user *who has uploaded files to SkyDrive* as of April 22nd can opt in to keep 25GB of free storage while still getting all of the benefits of the new service. (For users who are already using more than 4GB as of April 1, we’ve automatically opted you in to 25GB of free storage to avoid any issues.) Just sign in here or view our FAQ.(

Claimed my FREE 25GB SkyDrive Storage !

So what you waiting for? Go and grab your FREE 25GB storage back ! hehehehe

How to Get Old Facebook Photo Viewer Back

with 4 comments

With so many people not-so-keen on the new Facebook Photo Viewer, it’s perhaps no surprise that there’s a now a way around it.

New Facebook Picture Viewer

To switch Facebook Photo Viewer back to classic view without that annoying black pop-up slideshow, All you have to do is to press the “F5” key (Windows) or “Ctrl+R” Key (Mac) on the the keyboard when viewing a photo in the new Photo Viewer layout. This will reload the page and you will be greeted with the classic Facebook Photo Viewer.

Old Facebook Picture Viewer

Alternatively, if you are using Google Chrome browser, there’s a handy-dandy extension that will sit and wait for you to visit Facebook photos and the spring into action. Now you’re no longer forced into the clunky view Zuckerberg and Co. seem to like so much.

Both of the above tips works flawlessly, and is surely a must-have for any frequent Facebook stalker!

Telkomsel Kartu AS, Perdana FLASH Unlimited & simPATI reload card

Celebrating Chinese New Year 1st Feb 2011 till 13th Feb 2011 in Pontianak, Indonesia. As usual after landed, we headed to Megamall to look for phone line & Broadband. On the entrance of the Megamall, Telkomsel have Promotion on their “Perdana Flash Unlimited”. The salesperson is really helpful and patience to explain the Plan to me.

Telkomsel Flash Package

One thing that i don’t understand is that the Package stated, “Perdana Flash Unlimited”, but look at the plan above. There is a Fair Use Quota. Hmmm that’s mean not unlimited? I choose Rp 200,000 for 30 days and the speed is Max 512 kbps only 😦 . It’s alright, important is to have internet.

After 2 days of internet experience with Telkomsel, i am not satisfy with the service. The internet speed is slow, always switching between 2G to 3G then 3G to 2G and all the time “lost connection”. So frustrating. But no choice, i have to sticked with it…  no choice, already paid for it…

Claim your facebook email address

with 3 comments

Facebook has begun rolling out email addresses to its users after a ‘by invite only’. The new Facebook Email service isn’t your traditional email service, as it has a social networking, immediate chat twist. The new email service helps speed up how users communicate with one another, through email.

The main features to the service includes seamless messaging, conversation history and a social inbox. Users can choose an email address, and with that email, they’re able to have instant inbox alerts, the same concept as Google Instant Search, with conversation history and a social inbox, using an algorithm to filter out all the messages you don’t want. The email service is currently optional to current users, but like the recent profile page updates, we expect that all users will eventually be migrated over.

To claim your email address, log in to Facebook, go to “messages” and you will see an upgrade option (may not apply to all countries yet).
