Bogus calls
Recently there are bogus calls saying that your children has been kidnapped, here in Brunei. Few of my friends received the calls. The person is talking in Mandarin with the playback of a recorded children voice saying that “Mama, Papa, please help me , I’ve been kidnapped”. The caller asking for ransom. This is ridiculous.
Please pass around this message to all your family and friends out there. Let’s keep the public aware of this incident. We don’t want innocent people to fall into their trap. In case you are worry about your children safetly during you receive the call, please make sure you call up your children to check whether they are safe. If safe, just hang up the call.
